I literally make these once a week (which is generally how often I feel the need for chocolate!) They take about 5 mins to make, taste amazing and are surprisingly good for you! Go on... indulge!

You will need:
A small high sided dish like a baking dish (you can always use a big one and only use half of it)
Ingredients: 1 cup (I literally use a tea mug!) of nuts (pecans work best but you can mix up with a few different types) 2 cups mejool dates (important note: remove all stones) 3 tbls cacau powder 1 tbls maple syrup
Method:
- Pop the nuts in the food processor and pulse to break up a bit
- Put the rest of the ingredients in and whizz on full power until the mixture literally turns into a ball!
- Spoon this out into your tin/tray and flatten out to about 1cm thick
- Pop the tray in the freezer for 1 hour
- Take out leave for a few mins and cut into squares
- Put into an airtight container in the fridge (or do what I do and eat them all the same day!) they’ll keep happily for a few days in the fridge.
