The Best Christmas Calendars 2019

Want something a little different to the usual supermarket chocolate ones and a few more choices than just beauty calendars? I've curated a rather cool list of some unusual ones. Hope it gives you some ideas (and early elf points!)

Liberty's The Other Advent Calendar - £215 - Liberty London

So let's start with the big one... No Advent Calendar list would be complete without the Liberty's 2019 calendar offering, (of which there are actually 2 versions this year) A beauty one, and a version that's got a few more yummy things to offer. This year the packaging is completely recyclable too.

Among the products included (I won't give it all away) is a full-size Verso Super Eye Serum With Retinol 8 30ml (worth an eye-watering £110!) Liberty London Miniature Distilled Old Tom Gin (50cl) and of course, the calendar wouldn't be complete without the wintery scent of a Diptyque Candle. ( The combined contents are worth over £710.) Be quick though these beauties sell out in record time at Liberty's!

Crisp lovers everywhere, prepare to be amazed. There's a tub of Pringles behind every door on this unique advent calendar, perfect for those who prefer savoury over sweet. With 4 classic flavours behind each door, the countdown to Christmas has never been this exciting!

Flavours included are: Original, Sour Cream & Onion, Salt & Vinegar & Texas BBQ Sauce

The Bearded Man Beard Oil Advent Calendar - £32 - Not On The Hgh Street

Treat the man in your life (with a beard!) to this rather sumptuous beard oil advent calendar. Each door is filled with 24 different oils he can try out on his glorious whiskers.

The Hot Chocolate Advent Calendar for Two - £45 - Wittards

Whittards have literally dedicated themselves to 24 days of all things hot chocolate. There's 8 heavenly flavours to unveil behind each door, from their signature Christmas Spice to a moorish Peanut Butter version. I'm hoping this one finds it's way into my kitchen!

Morris Advent Calendar Blue Forest £ 40.00 - Morris & Co

Anything that's Morris and Co is always so beautifully designed and this calendar is just that. Adorned with their forest peacock design and opening 24 windows of luxurious beauty treats from hand creams to bath salts, its the perfect pre-Christmas treat for that someone special.

The Chocolate Advent Calendar For Two - £26 - Hotel Chocolate If it must be chocolate it has to be this one from the lovely guys at Hotel Chocolate. I could literally eat everything in that shop whenever I go in. This luxurious version has not one but two truffles hidden behind each window, with flavours such as Salted Caramel Cream and Gingerbread Praline. You must, of course, share them.

The Peppa Pig Advent Calendar - £20 - John Lewis & Argos

One for the toddler/s in your life, keep them entertained (for a few minutes anyway) opening a door a day to a surprise toy from the much-loved series. Expect Santa to make a special appearance alongside Peppa, George and their little friends. There's even a Christmas tree and some other festive accessories. We can finally get to drink that cuppa!

Hot Wheels Calendar - £15.99 (currently down to £9.99 in their sale) - Very

If your Toddler prefers cars then this Hot Wheels Calendar is definitely for them. Filled with 24 Hot Wheels surprises from bikes to mini cars.

Christmas Village Advent Calendar - £40 - Cath Kidson

If someone special in your life likes Cath Kidson, look no further than this beautifully packaged advent calendar. Filled with festive pampering treats such as their gorgeous hand cream and body wash.

Smiggle Advent Calendar - £28.00 (currently down to £18.00 in their sale) - Smiggle
